You need to prepare the amount of Japanese yen you will need on your trip in cash as our area does not always have machines available to use..
You need to remove your shoes at the Ninja yashiki and the sake brewery.
This area is colder than Osaka and Kyoto, dress warmly.
“Amazing multi day tours in Kyoto area”
My wife and I booked three day long tours with Mana in the Kyoto area for April 2024. She did an amazing job and made a huge difference in the quality of our visit. She met us at in the hotel each day. She was very flexible to adjust what we did as the day went on. We saw many sights we never would have on our own. The difference in navigating through the crowded areas vs the tour groups was fantastic. Mana is a kind, friendly, welcoming, and is enjoyable to be with. Her English is also very good. She has my highest recommendation as a guide, and you will be very pleased you spent a little extra for her personal service over a big tour group.

(80 reviews)Dear John. I am truly delighted to receive high praise for our three-day tour even though it's not yet over. Tomorrow, we will explore the remote area where Ninjas once lived. The museum where Louis Vuitton announced its collection is located atop a mountain and considerably cooler than Kyoto, so please dress accordingly. Take care of yourselves and let's enjoy the rural scenery tomorrow! Mana

“The highlights of Kyoto ”
Thank you Mana for taking us around the Northwest of Kyoto. We did so much in one day! The Golden pavilion and bamboo forest were beautiful. You explained so well and your English was great. It was wonderful learning about you and your family. We finally found the famous miyazaki mangoes for my one and it was absolutely delicious!

(80 reviews)Dear Dipa. Thank you for your review! The tour with your family, including your twins, was a delightful trip that reminded me of when my sons were young. I was pleased to hear that you all enjoyed the taste of mangoes. Going forward, please continue to explore other Japanese fruits, sweets, and dishes. Mana

“Day to Uji”
Kyoto is beautiful but Mana took us to her hometown of Uji, which is a short train ride away. Gorgeous scenery including the Uji river, Byodoin Temple, small tea ceremony, and several great lessons on some basic Japanese. Perfect 4 hours!
