A day trip to Mt. Fuji area from Shimizu port with options
This tour for the cruise passengers anchored in Shimizu port.Mt. Fuji was designated as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 2013 which is the well known mountain and the highest in Japan.We will visit Fujisan hongu sengen shrine (blessing Mt. Fuji) in Fujinomiya, also Shiraito waterfalls (view with Mt. Fuji if the weather is clear.)

Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine
Visit Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine by public transport, train and bus.
This shrine is worshipped the deity of Mt.Fuji, has really long history and can feel very sacred atmosphere.

Basically, you should book by yourself on this website. (depends on the company)
A chartered taxi: would be 42,000 JPY for less than 3 people ( one regular taxi) for 6 hours.
62,000 JPY for less than 8 people (one van taxi) for 6 hours.
depends on the taxi company and the time long (so if your tour takes less than 6 hours less cost)
Tour Important Information
This tour is using public transportation, for example, bus & train, so you should walk from the bus stop & train station though.
If you would like to use a chartered taxi, please let me know before booking.

“What a great day in Shimizu”
If you are on a cruise ship that stops in Shimizu don’t hesitate to book a tour with Yasuko. Communication was excellent before and during the tour. The info we were given during the day was very informative and not too much. During the day Yasuka let us know if we were ahead of schedule or if we were behind schedule and managed our time perfectly with adjustments where necessary. If we ever get back here I know who I will be booking for another tour. Thank you Yasuko for making our day special.
