“One of the best experiences we've had in Japan”
We had such a fun time with Taka exploring Takayama. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and just a great person to be around. He introduced us to local food and the Takayama Matsuri (even though we weren't there for the actual festival) and showed us so many things there are to love about the city. We definitely want to come back in the future.

“Fun short tour of Takayama”
This tour of Takayama with Takahiro is a highlight reel. You do get to see the top sights of the city, but if you want something in depth, book a full day tour! We chose not to due to limited time and wanting to visit Shirakawago that afternoon. That being said, we do feel like we still got to see the real Takayama. Takahiro took us to his favorite place for gohei-mochi, a local specialty, and made us feel very welcome and not rushed. Thank you so much for a lovely tour!
