In Tokyo, there are so many attractive places where you can have a great time of the day.
I selected five most popular touring spots in the west side of Tokyo; Meiji Jingu Shrine, Harajyuku, Omotesando, Shibuya and Shinjyuku.
It's very good tour focusing on the location, you can save your time and energy. I recommend this tour, especially if this will be your first time visit in Tokyo!
Also there is "Popular spots in the East side of Tokyo" tour on my page. You can cover most of all must-see spots in Tokyo!!
At first, we'll visit Meiji Jingu shrine which has rich culture and history and is about 100 years old now. It was built to commemorate the Emperor Meiji and the Empress Shoken in 1912. As it's located inside of the large forest, you can feel the peaceful atmosphere. It's a very popular Shrine in Tokyo. More than 3 million people visit here during the first three days of the New Year. The contrast between the outside world and inside of Meiji shrine is unique and interesting, feeling like the new and the old coexist in this area.
Then we'll visit Harajyuku(Takeshita street). It is known as the latest fashion trend area, especially for teenagers and it is famous for cos-players who are dressed in costumes. There are a big 100 yen shop, photo sticker machines, pet clothes shops, crepe shops and many casual fashion shops in this area.
Omotesando is the finest fashion area. The main street of Omotesando is called the Champs Elysees in Tokyo. There are many luxurious shops, KIDDY LAND (Toy & animation shop), Oriental bazaar (souvenir shop), Ukiyoe museum and nice cafes & restaurants.
Then next is Shibuya. It is known as one of the busiest districts such as the famous scramble crossing. Let's see a flock of people and across the street without bumping them! We'll stop by the statue of dog called Hachi and other interesting spots in Shibuya and shops!
Our last visiting Spot is Shinjyuku. It's the one of the busiest area and has more than 50 exits of Shinjyuku station! No worry, I will guide this area especially east side of Shinjyuku, so you won't get lost. It's vast area, so I can suggest which area would be good for you depends on your interest.
If you have any questions and requests, please feel free to ask me. I'll reply you as soon as possible.

“Great experience!”
Purchased a tour with Yukiko for my father-in-law for Christmas. It was a fun experience and brought back a lot of memories of his travels there, but also interesting to see what has changed. Really nice to be able to travel from home when it’s more difficult due to age or health to do so in-person. Yukiko was such a great guide, very attentive in the planning process and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

(214 reviews)I'm really happy to hear your review of my live virtual tour! What I want to do as a guide is introducing about my city Tokyo, including Japanese culture, history, lifestyle for more a wide range of people in the world, not only for my guests in person. I have a background of being a nurse and met many people who have mobility issues by some reasons. This experience prompted me to start this virtual tour, connect Japan and their home via online and show my guest what's going on right now in Tokyo. I do several different areas in Tokyo on virtual, if you'd like, please join it again! Thank you so much!!
“Family visit to Tokyo ”
My family and I were visiting Japan from the USA. We have a friend that recommended Yukiko and I’m so glad she did! Yukiko is a wonderful guide! She had wonderful communication with us leading up to our trip, she listened to all the things we wanted to to do and see while in Tokyo, and when she had suggestions for the itinerary that didn’t seem to fit our family she quickly changed the plans. She had wonderful recommendations of things to do even after we were done with our tour and on other days of our trip. She made getting around the city on the subway and JR Line super easy and helped us get comfortable with it so we could easily do it ourselves later in our trip. Yukiko went above and beyond on service, communication, and execution. Her English is superb and she works well with children (our kids are 17, 15, 13, & 10). She is incredibly organized and knows her city. I highly recommend Yukiko when booking your personalized tour around Tokyo.
