Tokyo "Essential" Half-Day Tour
I will escort you to Tsukiji Outer Market to see the lively atmosphere in the fish market. You can enjoy walking around the market and try some Japanese food. Then we walk to Hamarikyu Garden, the Japanese stroll garden with a 350-year history. Japanese sweets and tea served at the tea house. At the end of the garden, we will take a waterbus to bound for Asakusa to visit Sensoji Temple.

* If you prefer to use 1-Day Tokyo Ticket , it costs JPY1,590/person, which allows unlimited rides on subways, JR trains and buses in Tokyo.
- Lunch, dinner, entrance fee
* Food expenses differ largely depending on where you decide to eat. If you go to a restaurant, you may need a minimum JPY1,000 for lunch and JPY2,000 for dinner.
If you go to convenience stores, thereare sandwiches, box lunches, pasta, yakisoba and udon at reasonable prices. Price range is about JPY300 ~ 600.

“Orientation and Art”
Kumiko gave us a great orientation to the city for our first day in Tokyo. What had seemed like an intimidating place quickly gave way to many interesting neighborhoods, some bustling, others leafy and quiet. We focused on art and her insights were very helpful. “A great day with Kumiko!”
We spent our first day in Tokyo with Kumiko. It was a great experience and one I would highly recommend. She helped us get Suica cards which were very useful as we navigated the Tokyo transportation system. Kumiko enabled us to efficiently see the highlights of Tokyo (Temples, Shrines, Harjuku and other areas) without spending time getting lost and trying to figure out directions in train stations. Her English is very very good and she explained the history and background of the places we visited. Thank you Kumiko!
