Three-hour tour to Naritasan Temple from Narita
“A fun and interesting tour!”
Nobu is an excellent guide with a friendly sense of humor. We had just enough time on our layover to see Naritasan Temple and the amazing gardens, to eat a delicious lunch including noodles, rice bowl and tender, tasty, grilled eel. He kept us on a tight schedule, seeing the most beautiful parts of the gardens, giving good explanations of the temple grounds, Buddhism and Shintoism, and even allowing a few minutes for souvenir shopping. I highly recommend Nobu!

(89 reviews)Thank you very much for your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the tour with me. Naritasan is an authentic and historically very important temple. It is possible for the tourists to visit by themselves, but I assume it will be more interesting if visiting with a good guide. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu
“Fun in Fukagawa with Nobu”
Nobu is an endearing guide who discussed Japan’s history and culture. We wanted an experience on the quieter side, meaning not a lot of tourists, so we had a custom tour of Fukagawa. With my sister in law and blind husband, we had leisurely walk through the “old downtown” of Tokyo or also known as Fukagawa. We visited a shrine, a temple, a Japanese garden and the Fukagawa Edo Museum. Nobu taught us the proper way to enter a shrine or temple - First, we bowed at the gate, then the water purification and finally the shrine and then a short walk to the temple. The Japanese tea garden was a contemplative, serene place where absorbing in your thoughts is meditative. Then, the Fukagawa Edo Museum where we learned about the peaceful Edo period and the replica of village life in Fukagawa. After, we had a wonderful delicious dinner at a Japanese/Chinese restaurant. Just incredible delicious food. Nobu, as our navigator through Tokyo’s complex and busy subway system, seamlessly eased our transfers and stops. We never lost sight of Nobu which comforted us while walking through the busy station. Nobu is a excellent guide who provides exceptional service to his clients.

(89 reviews)Thank you very much for your review! I am glad to know that you enjoyed my tour. Fukagawa was a downtown in "Edo" and still remains good old day's Japan. It is always my great pleasure to guide my guests in this area. Also I learned a lot from you during the tour. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu
“Outstanding!”
My family and I were lucky to see Mt Fuji on a clear day. Nobu is an excellent guide. He knows where to find the excellent views of Mount Fuji and the he timed the visits to different sites to get the different view points of Mount Fuji and admire its splendor. I highly recommend Nobu, a local and private guide that provides some history of the sites you are visiting and knows the area and has the flexibility to change itineraries for some unexpected incidents.
