Food tour of Tokyo for First-Timers
Japan is known for a lot of delicious food. This tour takes you to Tsukiji Outer Market (the old and historical area which supports people's stomach) and Ginza. During the tour, you will know the Japanese transportation system and how to find good and reasonable restaurants, etc. so that you can visit other places by yourselves. Please feel free to consult me concerning where to visit and see.
You can see and eat a variety of local food on the streets in Tsukiji, become familiar with the town.

You can see and eat a variety of local food on the bustling streets in Tsukiji.
Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple
The famous Buddhist temple with unique architectural design. You can sit in the main hall and see how people worship Buddha.
Kabukiza Theater
Kabuki is the traditional Japanese theatrical art. You will see how popular it is when you see the theater. You will find a small Japanese garden on the rooftop of it.
Mitsukoshi Department Store Food Floor
In the food floor of Japanese Department Stores (called Depachika in Japanese), you’ll find an incredible array of food item displays. It’s a food paradise! Everything looks yummy! You can buy your favorite food.
Ginza
Ginza is the famous high-end shopping street. If you want to do shopping, I will show you the directions of shops you are interested in and leave you there to enjoy by yourselves.

Tour Important Information
In Tsukiji Outer Market, many shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays, Wednesdays and holidays.
Also Tsukiji is the fish market open from early morning till early afternoon. Most shops are closed by 15:00. So you should start your tour in the morning, between 9 and 11 am.
We walk from Tsukiji to Ginza, which takes about 15 minutes.
If you want to do shopping in Ginza, I will show you the directions of shops you are interested in and leave you there to enjoy by yourselves.
This tour doesn't include lunch time.
Important message from the guide
If you stay in the central area of Tokyo or Chiba, I will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or anyplace you like.
We will take public transportation and walk a lot so please wear comfortable shoes.

“Amazing day out with Beautiful Chiaki ”
Our family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys) were met at our apartment by Chiaki. She was very welcoming warm and friendly. We spoke about our plan for the day and saw some wonderful sights. Being a busy Saturday we all had a wonderful time and Chiaki was sure that we stuck together. After finishing off our afternoon eating delicious street food under the cherry blossoms, we made our way back to our station and said goodbye. Thank you Chiaki for a thoughtful and fun introduction to the sights of Tokyo. 10 out of 10 :)

Shinjuku Kabukicho and Omoide Yokocho Evening Tour
“Great start in Tokyo with Chiaki,”
On our first day in Tokio we booked the evening walking tour of Shinjuku downtown and spent a great evening with Chiaki.
