Tsukiji Fish Market is the largest wholesale fish market in the world.

The wholesale area of the market, the inner market, is open to tourists after 10:00am.

You can watch fishmongers filleting fresh fish, such as a tuna, if you are lucky.

After enjoying hustle & bustle there, you can enjoy quality sushi for breakfast!, if you want.

Also, in the outer market, you can have a taste of flakes of dried bonitoes, Japanese tea, and other Japanese food sold at numerous shops.

You can even buy sashimi knives at some shops.

*For the inner market of the fish market, we can't take big luggages, or baby strollers inside, as it is very busy with small vehicles and workers inside.

So, I wouldn't reccomend small children to enter for their safety, as it is very dangerous with small vehicles and workers inside.

The inner market is basically for professionals and not for tourists.

If you prefer, we skip the inner market, and only visit the outer market.

Inside the inner maket, it is wet, and slippery, and alleys are very narrow. Please make sure to wear closed-toe shoes such as sneakers.

And please make sure the tuna auction is not included in this tour.
