Walking and experience Tour in SHOSENKYO Japan's most beautiful ravine !
We are married couple,75old husband and 71old wife. So we have amazingly rich OMOTENASHI spirit that our ages have raised. First you will walk along the gorge, next you will make HOTO, a local flat noodle specialty served MISO SOUP as your lunch. And yo will visit KANAZAKURAJINJYA shrine having a history of 2000 years. At that shrine, you will practice calligraphy, traditional art form in Japan.

Tour Important Information
We use a local bus. The departure time of the bus is 9:10am. So I can't wait for my guest who is late.
The walking time is about 90～100 minutes.
The course is a gradual ascent, paved, narrow path along the river and it has about 150 steps stone stair on the way. So you shoud wear suitable clothes, rain gear, shoes and take a bottle of water.

“Fantastic guided hike, cooking class and calligraphy lesson”
Yoichi and Yasuko gave a great guided hike of the Shosenkyo Gorge, a Houtou (noodle) cooking lesson (and lunch), and a calligraphy lesson. They were great guides, really knowledgeable about the area, its history and mythology - it's a beautiful area to start with, but having that context really makes it a great experience. Even aside from their guidance and knowledge, they were great company! My wife and I really enjoyed it.
