Scenic Yokohama Walking Tour - 4 hours
Yokohama is a beautiful harbor city with mix of historical and modern buildings, and Chinatown with its genuine Chinese flavors .Excellent views and plenty of photo opps. It's just only 30 minutes away from Tokyo by train. Tour A is a walking tour with some options. Tour B (Sankeien Garden) is highly recommended if you're not going to either Kamakura or Kyoto. Additional options D, E , F, G & H are very unique, too. Combination of A & B (7 hours tour) is available. See you in Yokohama!
Meeting Point
JR Sakuragicho station or Osanbashi-international terminal in Yokohama. NO MEET-UP at Daikoku Pier. Please ask the guide about meet-up in Tokyo.

TOUR A
We will take a beautiful walking path (flat) which was the old railroad. Very instra-worthy.
A-1 : Minato Mirai area (Yokohama Landmark Tower and Dockyard Garden)
The area is just 20 years old. Dockyard Garden is a historic site of Japan's oldest commercial shipping dock. A Pokemon manhole cover is found.
A-2 : Observatory deck or Gondola ride. Please select from 1,2 or 3.
Option A: Landmark Tower Observation Deck (69F) Entrance fee = 1,000 JPY /person (the guide has a pass for it.)
Option B: Free observation deck (46F)
Option C: Yokohama Sky Cabin - Fare = 1,000JPY/person (you and guide)
A-3 : Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse - shopping and cafes (30 mins to 1 hr)
A-4 : Chinatown - strolling, shopping, lunch, dinner (30 mins to 1.5 hr)
A-5: Yamashita Park
The tour ends at Yokohama Station
No Tokyo Drop-Off
Optional A-6 : Harbor cruise : Sea bus (Starts at 350 JPY) - currently out of service
Going back to Yokohama station by boat or by bus
TOUR B
Sankeien Garden & Minato Mirai area
B-1 : Sankeien Japanese garden - Features 17 historic Japanese-style buildings (3 hrs)
Entrance fee = 600JPY (the guide has a pass for it.) Japanese architecture and a garden; not found in Tokyo's old town. If you want to save your time, using a taxi is recommended (2,000JPY++ fare).
B-2: Minato Mirai area (Yokohama Landmark Tower and Dockyard Garden)
The area is just 20 years old. Dockyard Garden is a historic site of Japan's oldest commercial shipping dock.

Additional Options.Option D: Deep Yokohama - Retro Town and Former Red Light District Walkthrough (At least 2 Hour-Walk)
We will see the area with cheap accommodations that housed workers that lived hand to mouth. Then there would be a unique riverside building with 60 small bars and some artists' studios (outside only). We may use a taxi for a short ride to save time and energy.
Option E - Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Cultural History (60 mins, 300JPY entrance fee)
It's like a mini-national museum (in Ueno Tokyo) with variety of arts and historical artifacts. In case of rain you can choose this as an alternative to an observatory deck. May require an extra hour service.
Option F: Artric Museum - Joke and optical illusion museum (1 to 2 hrs = 1,300 JPY entrance fee)
Fun place for young people. In case of rain you can choose this as an alternative to an observatory deck. May require an extra hour service.
Option G: Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery
In case of rain you can choose this as an alternative to an observatory deck. May require an extra hour service.
Option H: Retro Shopping Street (1hrs)
Feel a nostalgic vibe of traditional mom and pop stores. One of the oldest wooden structured shopping mall in Japan. Require one hour extension.

Tour Important Information
1)NO Tokyo pick-up and drop-off
2) NO Daikoku Pier pick-up, Cruise ship companies often offer the guests the shuttle bus service to JR Sakuragicho station.
= Sankeien: takes 20 to 30 minute by bus. For travelers who don't have time to visit to Kyoto and Kamakura, it is the best place to see traditional buildings arranged in the Japanese garden. Tea ceremony is available.
In case of rain, you can choose one or two indoor options from E, F or G as an alternative to an observatory deck.

“Great tour with Toshi, excellent knowledge, and covered all the key sites”
We arranged to meet Toshi at the station and were immediately put at ease after meeting Toshi. Her knowledge and English were excellent and we experienced many aspects of Yokohama. We enjoyed a Chinese lunch (inexpensive) in China Town followed by a taxi ride to Sankeien Gardens. Again Toshi had very good knowledge of the most interesting aspects of the garden . In summary, we can highly recommend Toshi to provide an excellent private tour of Yokohama.

“Great custom tour”

“Tokyo with Toshi”
My family and I spent two days with Toshi touring the east and west side of Tokyo. Toshi communicated very well with us in English and took very good care of my 79 year old mother-in-law. We traveled primarily with the trains and I learned how to navigate the train system. Toshi took very good care of us and I would encourage others to take her tour.
