Wir holen Sie von Ihrem Hotel in der Riviera Maya ab (zwischen Cancun und Playa del Carmen). Das Fahrzeug ist offiziell für Tourismus zugelassen. Der Fahrer hat einen speziellen Führerschein für Tourismus. Wir bringen Sie nach der Tour zum Hotel zurück. Wir werden Ekbalam besuchen sowie in einer Cenote baden und dort auch Mittag essen (inbegriffen). Ich werde Ihnen Geheimnisse der Maya-Geschichte verraten und einige Maya-Hieroglyphen in Ekbalam zeigen und erklären.

Ekbalam
Besuch von Ekbalam. Diese Mayastadt ist noch fast ein Geheimtipp. Dort gibt es die spektakulärste Stuckfassade eines Mayatempels. Die Hieroglyphen an der Treppe der Akropolis werde ich Ihnen zeigen, lesen und übersetzen. Sie können auf die Spitze der Akropolis klettern und dort die Aussicht geniessen. Auf der Fahrt dorthin verrate ich Ihnen etwas von der Geschichte der Stadt und ihrer Verbindung zu Cobá und Chichén Itzá.
Cenote Xcanché
Wir fahren zur nahegelegenen Cenote Xcanché. Dort werden wir baden und anschliessend Mittag essen.

My name is Jens, I am a German living in Cancún, México. I am a specialized tour guide with an official guiding license in Mexico for English, Spanish and German, and have been working in the Maya area for 25 years. My specialty is Maya calendar and Maya hieroglyphic writing. I have written a number of books and articles about those topics. I would like to guide you in the famous Maya ruins like Tulum, Chichén Itzá, Uxmal, Palenque, Calakmul and others. I also know some secret Maya ruins where no other tourists go.

Day trip from Cancun to Tulum and Cobá in minivan
“Excellent triop to Tulum & Coba”
We had a day trip with Jens today visiting Coba & Tulum. It was a wonderful experience & would recommend Jens very highly to anyone interested in exploring the Myan culture and Mexico. Our day started at 8.00am and we traveled by air conditioned mini bus to Tulum. The driver was superb, very friendly, very efficient. En route, Jens introduced us to Mayan hieroglyphics, explaining the system and meaning as well as the Mayan calendar. Hugely enriching. We then traveled to Coba where Jens sorted out a bicycle 'taxi' for us so we toured the ruins at leisure without having to walk much at all. Overall a wonderful experience We then stopped for what was an exceptional local buffet for lunch and finally a cenote to have a quick swim. Honestly, an excellent day. Very highly recommended!
