Mexico City´s Historical Center Highlights (walking Tour)
We will visit the heart of Mexico's Capital City, where Tenochtitlan City (Aztec Capital City) was previously erected in 1325. Our private tour will visit all stages of the history of the place. Visiting Zócalo, National Palace; we will get inside to see the murals made by Diego Rivera. Templo Mayor archaeological site where we can see part of the pyramids and temple of the holy city and the museum. You will full discover why Mexico City is called "The City of Palaces".

Walking Tour along Mexico City´s first square. This small área is so unique that you can find murals, pyramids, and colonial churches. we'll go to Palacio Nacional (XVI century), where Diego Rivera (Frida Kahlo's husband) painted those famous mural in the 20’s that narrate Mexican history; just in the next corner we can find the Metropolitan Cathedral (1571), built over Aztec temple that make it sink and you can see it and feel the unevenness. And just in front of this emblematic building, the Huey Teocalli or Great Temple discover by accident in 1978, this is the Aztec Holy City, we can see reminds of pyramids, monoliths and a site museum is the best way to understand Mexican history, pre-columbian and colonial time period in just one place. Madero Street & Fine Art Palace (Palacio de Bellas Artes)
It is Historical Mexico City Center pedestrian street where most of wealthy families used to live after the conquered. A street that combines Barroquian, Neo-Classic and French architectural style buildings. First Mexican Emperor´s house, silver shops, parishes & convents, street food and a vibrant atmosphere will be waiting for us.
Finally, we will get to the end of the Historical Center First Square, where we will find a remarkable French and Art Deco influence on these XX century buildings. We will see Palacio Postal (Main Post), National Art Museum, Palacio de Mineria, Alameda Central Park and Palacio de Bellas Artes (Fine Art Palace) which is a prominent cultural center in Mexico City. It has hosted some of the most notable events in music, dance, theatre, opera and literature as well as mural from the most important Mexican muralists and unbelievable Art Deco Style. You will discover all what Mexico City can offer and even more.
