We enter the city through the only remaining city gate, at the beginning of the so-called "Royal Route".
The Słowacki Theatre
A masterpiece of the neo-baroque architecture from late 19th c. gives an opportunity to talk about Cracow's cultural importance.

The Jagiellonian University
We visit the oldest university building in Poland and talk about scientific discoveries that started here.
The Wawel Castle Hill & Cathedral
The oldest part of the city and, at the same time, the center of Poland's national identity. The place of royal coronations and burials.
The Wawel Castle Courtyard
After admiring the Renaissance arcades of the castle we go out to admire a view over the western and southern part of the city.

Here we end our tour with real flames (no danger!), a nice view over a river and a last legend.

Tour Important Information
Please note that this tour involves quite a lot of walking! If you don't feel comfortable climbing up the Castle Hill, we can spend more time in the city instead and e.g. visit some churches. There will be more than enough to discover in any case! I suggest taking a short coffee & toilet break in the middle of the tour, but whether, when and where we will do it, is completely up to you. There is no need to pay any entrance ticket, if we stick to the suggested itinerary. If you want to enter a church or a museum on a way - it is possible, but please note that it may make the tour longer and generate extra costs.
