My name is Ricardo and I was born and raised in Porto City. Although tourism changed Porto for the best (in my opinion) for the last 5 years, me and my family had to move out from Porto, into the bush, housing and living costs became very high and we made the choice that we should move out to the countryside. In this last year 2020 and even this year 2021 with pandemic work just fell down drastically and we had to adapt. Making Port Wine, Muscat wine and sometimes olive oil in a amatuer way since 2014, this hobbie become my family income. With vineyards and olives fields almost abandoned from the pandemic I rolled up my sleeves and went to work, asking neighbours and friends if I could keep their grapes and olives for harvest time, their answers were immediately YES Dividing my life between Porto and Douro Valley, me and my family feel completely safe, happy and relaxed with this new way of living your life. “Sintra and Cascais tour with Rodrigo”

Rodrigo was substituted for Joao as my guide on the Sintra and Cascais tour. His English communication skills were excellent. We visited the Queluz Palace and his knowledge of the history of the palace really enhanced the visit. We also stopped at Cabo de Roca , did some shopping in Sintra and stopped for lunch in Cascais. Drove along the coast in the seaside town of Estoril on our return to Lisbon. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend Rodrigo’s tour guide services.

From the very beginning to the end of our tour we were blown away with how well everything went. We were 8 adults with a 1 year old on this tour. Our guide Maia and driver Pedro were so accommodating and flexible. We had a full day of touring and saw everything we had planned to see and more.
