About
I'm Hiroyuki.
I was born in Osaka, central city in western Japan, and when I was college student, lived in Kyoto, previous capital of Japan, and now live in Tokyo, current capital.
I have worked for a global company for about 30 years. Working with international members gave me the opportunity to communicate with people with different cultures, and sometimes the opportunity to guide the spots of interest to them.
I found it interesting to show Japanese interesting spots to the guests, such as the wonderful things, strange things, mysterious things, marvelous things.
For the past few years, I tried to improve ability to communicate with people from abroad. Recently, Japanese history intrigued me.
I’m really into finding historical places, local favorites, and unique systems in Japan.
In the tour pages, I am introducing tours in Tokyo and tours in Kyoto and Osaka. I include the orthodox sightseeing places. However, you could also specify some unique local places. Information about local spots and local foods such as Ramen, Udon would be interesting to you. Please contact me and let’s talk about your itinerary specially made to order.

Can I make changes after I book?
Yes! If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking or changing the date or time of your tour, contact us by phone or email
Starting and ending points of the tour.
After you secure your booking, the starting and ending points of your tour can be customized to your convenience (ex.: your hotel, nearby stations, etc.). Don't worry, we will take care of you! Some tours may have an extra fee for this service, make sure to check the tour page.
What happens after I book a tour?
After booking a tour, the guide will accept (or decline) your booking within 24 hours. Then you will be noticed by email from GoWithGuide.
Is the price per person or per group?
The price is charged per group. Which means that you make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change if it is less or more people.
Can I add more people to my booking?
Some guides accept extra people (more than the specified number) for an extra charge. Please check for the extras on the tour or booking page, or contact your guide directly to clarify.
Will there be other tourists in my tour?
No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.
Can the guide pickup me at the airport?
Yes, but there will be additional charge for that and it is not by car. The guide will go pick you up using public transportations. For further details, please contact your guide directly.
I'm travelling alone. Can I book this tour?
Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. Price depends on which guide you choose.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel in the first 14 day(s) before the meeting time, there is a 100% charge.
- If you cancel between 15 and 29 day(s) in advance of the meeting time, there is a 50% charge.
- If you cancel at least 30 day(s) in advance of the meeting time, there is a 100% refund.
“ Day Tour of Osaka ”
An absolutely brilliant day with Hiroyuki who had spent so much time researching and organising the day. Ceramic museum was something we will never forget. Shopping arcades also amazing in size and variety. Osaka castle was very good as well. Hiroyuki showed us and explained so much both historically and on the Japanese way of life. Lunch was traditional Japanese meal which was outstanding. Cannot recommend Hiroyuki to you highly enough.

Hiro provided our group with a wonderful sightseeing experience in Japan. We had opportunities to experience Japanese culture by visiting areas of historical importance, learning more about Japanese customs, and tasting a variety of delicious Japanese cuisine. Hiro was friendly and very accommodating and flexible with our schedule during the trip. Even though parts of our schedule changed during the trip to cater to the group's needs, the tour was seamless. We would consider re-booking with Hiro if we are visiting the area again.
