About

I live in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. Until 2015 I had been teaching English at public high schools in Kanagawa for 37 years, and now I am teaching parttime. During that time, I had some experience of guiding students from overseas through sister-school relashionship around Tokyo and Kanagawa. My guiding especilly focuses on introducing Japanese traditional culture and arts, such as temples, shrines, as well as Kabuki and Noh, letting you experiece Zazen (sitting in meditation), tea ceremony, kimono-wearing and so on. As an English Rakugo (a traditional funny-story telling) performer myself, I will perform a piece of classical Rakugo for you in a bus. Music is also my area of expertise. Beside playing in a rock band as a vocalist, I can play some instruments such as, a guitar, a ukulele, drums and a harmonica. My tour introduces some Japanese musical instruments and beautiful songs in Japan. You are sure to have a once-in-a-life-time experience in Japan with my profound, intelligeble and humorous guiding.

Will there be other tourists in my tour?

No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.

Can the guide pickup me at the airport?
