Would you like to have a private guide who caters to all of your needs when you are in Japan? I'm a professional, private guide in Tokyo and am committed to offering my guests a stress-free, enjoyable and memorable trip in which you can feel as if you are guided by a local Japanese friend with personal warmth and without any language barrier. Unlike fixed tours, you are free to change your travel plan anytime to cater more to your interest or to deal with unexpected situations. In any case, I'd be more than happy to help you to make your trip even better.
My name is Koichiro (my nickname is Koji!) and I've stayed in Southern California for 3 years and have graduated from an American college there. I am a licensed, professional English-speaking tour guide who loves having great time with people and would be truly glad to show you around Tokyo by sharing my knowledge and experiences as a professional guide and, more importantly, as a local. I'm more than happy to introduce you to hidden gems, authentic restaurants, and bars in Tokyo (Tokyo has the best food!).
I'd like to guide you as my real friend and will offer sheer hospitality and friendship to you so that you can truly value the moments in Tokyo. I'll explain Japanese things through the eyes of local Japanese so that you can have clearer ideas on what they really are.
I'd love to draw up your original travel plan and am always flexible to your request, so please feel free to message me for any questions/suggestions!

In the midst of the ongoing COVID drama sweeping the world, my partner and I decided to continue on with our trip to Japan. We were a bit nervous and wary but ended up having an incredible, once in a lifetime trip and a large part of this was our time with Koji. Koji has youth and energy, knowledge about Japanese culture, food and life, and was a wonderful host during our stay in Tokyo. We felt like we were with someone who knew the city and the people, was able to help us get from points A to B to C and help expose us to things we would have never seen without a great guide.
