Takayasu was an excellent guide! His explanations were clear we, enjoyed the historical information he presented. He adjusted the day at our request, because of rain and our need to be at the airport for our return home. He made sure our bags were taken care of appropriately, walking us in to the counter . I would recommend him wholeheartedly !
Hi Lorraine, Thank you very much for your great words appreciating my guiding. It is a geat honor for me to have such warm review on my Kamakura tour. It was raining hard in the morning but it became sprinkling by the time we arrived at a shrine and temples. Therefore,we could visit more spots than I ecpected. I am glad to know you liked my explanation. Both of you were so eager to listen to my historical presentation. There are lots more spots in this ancient city. So please come again and I am happy to guide you.
Dennis, Thank you very much for your wonderful comments on my tour. I am very glad to know that you and Sandra enjoyed the traditional spots, shopping and food. You visited two of three ancient cities in Japan. I would like to show you around my home town. Kamakura which you have saved for the next visit. Please keep in touch. Takayasu
Takayasu was full of information about the area. He knew exactly where to go in the quickest time and fitted in a tea ceremony for us. We ran out of time to complete the tour. We would recommend Takayasu and his tour to anyone
Rosalie, thank you so much for your deep gratitude to me and my tour. I am happy to know that you enjoyed the wedding, tea ceremony and my talk, which is my utmost pleasure. I remember having Bento lunch to save our limited time. Please get in touch with me and set up another visit plan to Japan. Takayasu
Gracias Taka.
Haydee y Bob, Mucho Gracious! Thank you very much for electing me as your guide. I am very happy that both of you were satisfied with my showing around the typical Tokyo and stories and legends. I want to guide a nice couple like you, Haydee and Bob again next time you visit Japan. Takayasu
Takayasu was a fantastic guide! He was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His English is really good and he goes at an excellent pace. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
HI Jonathan and Samantha, Thank you very much for your highest appreciation to my guiding. I also enjoyed having spent some time with you, a beatiful couple. I wish I had more time to show you around. I hope your belongings come back to you. Tak
The trip planning took a lot of time since we had only several hours that we could spend in Kamakura but we really wanted to see all the Temples and get a feel of this one of three great capitals of Japan. Takayasu was very attentive to details. Suggested several options for a trip. On the day of a trip he met us in hotel in Yokohama and we had a great time. Everything went exactly as planned, we accomplished entire itinerary. Takayasu took his time explaining us history of each Temple. I highly recommend Takayasu as a great guide and great human being, responsive to travelers needs and time limitations! Thanks Tak!
Rosa, thank you very much for the highest appreciation by giving me the full score. You have surveyed our history and Kamakura. I also enjoyed telling you the legends and answering your questions. All of you are wonderful guests. I am extremely happy if you bring many pleasant memories back home and talk about them to your families and friends. Thank you again for your beautiful feedback!
Tak could not have packed more information and sights into our day. He provides answers to every question and interjects much into the history of the Kamakura area. He is extremely personal and very energetic but carefully watched to make sure the pace he was setting was the correct one. He provided detailed information on the transportation from our hotel in Tokyo to the meeting place in Kita-Kamakura.
Hi Larry Thank you very much for the highest evaluation of my tour. All of you know or have surveyed our history and culture beforehand. You have a sincere desire to know many things in Japan. I had a very good time to show the sightseeing spots while answering and talking about a variety of topics. I would like to be of service to you when you're coming to Japan next time. Please keep in touch. Best regards, Tak
Our guide Tak kept in close touch with us as we arrived Yokohama the day before typhoon trami was coming north into our area. On our tour day he met us at the Sheraton hotel Yokohama brought us by train first to Hase to see Hasedera temple and the Great Buddha then to Kamakura to walk the Dankazura footway to the Hachimangu shrine then to Engakuji zen shrine in kitakamakura where we stopped for macha green tea. He explained everything in very good English and was very personable and engaging. I highly recommend him!

I think I could introduce you the Japanese culture and tradition through my tour. When you have a chance to come back again, I am willing to be of service to you and your wonderful husband, Thomas. I would book another tour with Takayasu anytime! He was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable!!
Takayasu is a wonderful guide: very knowledgeable, attentive, patient and intelligent. We learned a lot about the temples that we visited and about Shogun ate period. We spent almost 10 hours together and it was very enjoyable. I wish we could make another trip with Takayasu, but we are leaving for Kyoto. But definitely next time will book more trips with him

He knows a lot about Kamakura and told us many interesting things such as histories, recent stories and so on. His English is very fluent. Most impressive point about him was his flexibility. He always put us first and tried to meet our requests. Thanks Tak.
Hello Shuichi san, Thank you very much for your highest praise on my Kamakura guide. All of you had hands-on experience of purifying themselves at the water basin, offeing prayer, drinking 'Maccha' and etc. Although we spent a very short time together, I found your Romania friends were very positive to know Japanese history, culture, tradition and cutoms. You are great tourists. I would like to serve you in another occasion. Thank you. Tak
I had a truly wonderful experience in visiting Kamakura by using him as a guide. His knowledge, kindness and humour allows me to enjoy my visit in Kamakura. He brought me to lots of interesting places there (such as Minamoto Yoritomo Tomb, great Buddha and Enoshima) and I really learned a lot from them. He is also very flexible and was able to accommodate his itinerary to include other places which I want to visit. We are becoming a good friends and I would certainly use his service again when visiting Kamakura area.
Hi Alexander, Thank you very much for your highest praise on my guided tour last week. I am very glad that you are satisfied with Kamakura & Enoshima day return trip.
