About
Hi. I'm Michi.
I’m a national certificated tour guide in English. I would like to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinated and satisfied.
My specialty is tours of Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you the a-bomb legacies that still existing in the city.
I also would like to share time with you in a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine.
I also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors' experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors.’ It is possible to include my lecture in my tour. It is appreciated that if you could let me know upon your booking.

Can I make changes after I book?
Yes! If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking or changing the date or time of your tour, contact us by phone or email
Starting and ending points of the tour.
After you secure your booking, the starting and ending points of your tour can be customized to your convenience (ex.: your hotel, nearby stations, etc.). Don't worry, we will take care of you! Some tours may have an extra fee for this service, make sure to check the tour page.
What happens after I book a tour?
After booking a tour, the guide will accept (or decline) your booking within 24 hours. Then you will be noticed by email from GoWithGuide.
Is the price per person or per group?
The price is charged per group. Which means that you make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change if it is less or more people.
Can I add more people to my booking?
Some guides accept extra people (more than the specified number) for an extra charge. Please check for the extras on the tour or booking page, or contact your guide directly to clarify.
Will there be other tourists in my tour?
No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.
Can the guide pickup me at the airport?
Yes, but there will be additional charge for that and it is not by car. The guide will go pick you up using public transportations. For further details, please contact your guide directly.
I'm travelling alone. Can I book this tour?
Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. Price depends on which guide you choose.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel in the first 14 day(s) before the meeting time, there is a 100% charge.
- If you cancel between 15 and 29 day(s) in advance of the meeting time, there is a 50% charge.
- If you cancel at least 30 day(s) in advance of the meeting time, there is a 100% refund.

Michi created an itinerary that gave us first an overview and specific spots which were significant because they survived the bombing until today. Then she was able to better share the significance of the many things in the memorial park and museum. That made a difference in our understanding of the many stories of the bombing.

“ Wonderful insight into the tragic event... ”
Michiru- san was at the hotel well before time and thanks to her we were able to check in using her mobile phone to get the confirmation email!!!! The tour itself was short but covered all the sites associated with the tragic bombing and her in-depth knowledge helped getting more insights. Unfortunately we could not treat her to a much anticipated lunch , but guided us to a wonderful place where we had okonomiyaki... She gave us all the guidance required for spending the evening and booking tickets for airport bus etc... Dilip
