Hi, I'm Dai, a national licensed tour guide for people from all over the world.
I’m crazy about traveling around the world.
I’ve backpacked in over 150 countries.
So I'm proud of my traveling skills, flexibility and patience that I've ever experienced through my world-traveling.
I do believe one of the most important thing for travelers is to " EXPERIENCE ", such as doing something new, extraordinary and something you've never done before.
Also, I used to work at a hostel in Asakusa, so I'm quite familiar with Asakusa area.
I'd love to help international tourists enjoy their stay in Japan.
You can arrange your own itinerary as you like.
Please feel free to contact me anytime, if you have any questions.
I'm really looking forward to seeing YOU soon. Thank YOU.

I'm really grateful to have been able to spend a day with Dai. Our family was a little complex with a 9 year old intellectually disabled child who struggled with almost everything. Dai was patient and understood the complexity he was dealing with after meeting us. He changed things up on the go, stopped at odd stations so we could quickly grab food, slowed things down so we could catch up on our jetlag and just took really good care of us. Throughout the day we had a really thorough guide through the Shitenoji temple and Nakamise Shopping centre, Akihabara district and the Shinjuku Samurai Museum. We got a thorough understanding of the train network, JR and the multiple private lines, metro and others. We also had the most delicious lunch that was so well priced. Really great day, 10... read more

Has a great time with Dai. He showed us around Tokyo and was with us an entire day. He took the time to find a knife shop for us, find anime for my daughter and suggest some street food for us to sample. Thanks Janet & Family
Thank you so much for a considerate review, Janet. I also had a great time with all of you. It was super fun to talk and share the time with you. I believe you could enjoy staying in Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Sasebo as well after Tokyo. Please take good care of yourself and give my best regards to your wonderful family. I hope to see you again sometime in the future. Thanks a million !!!
Dai was a great guide. Lost of communication before our visit. On the day Dai was there 20 mins before time and before we started ensured we were all still happy with our plans. We got though all we wanted to and Dai guided us expertly through the subway. Dai had a great knowledge of places/ areas of Tokyo and his English was great. He showed us things we would have never known about. Tornado potato snack - why did I not know this existed before this tour! Also lots more small things that just added to the experience. You will not be disappointed if you book with Dai - we were not!
Thank you so much for giving me such a great review, Colin. It was a great pleasure for me to show you around Tokyo. I was so happy to be able to see you guys enjoyed a Hedgehog cafe in Akihabara and Eye-Popping Tornado Potatoes in Harajuku. I believe you could see beautiful Mt. Fuji after my tour and were safely back to your hometown, Glasgow, Scotland. Please take good care of yourself and give my best regards to your lovely wife. Thanks a million !!! Cheers !!! Keep on Travelling !!!
At the end of our tour with Dai we found ourselves a little perplexed given the high volume of exceptional reviews he has received on this website. Dai seemed to show annoyance at our questions and was uninterested in exploring topics outside of the confines of the sites he selected for the tour. We found that Dai was not even very forthcoming with information about the various sites we visited, limited to some basic descriptions, and at times even declining to answer certain questions by saying the answer would take "too long." He was not upbeat or particularly engaged at any point. We carefully considered Dai's impressive qualifications and travel experiences when selecting him as our guide for the day, assuming that he would understand the kinds of questions and interests that a firs... read more
Dear Irina, I am very sorry to hear that you were not happy with my tour. I am so sorry to have disappointed you. I need to seriously accept your valuable opinions. And I want to use this experience and be helpful in my future job. I will try not to disappoint my customers again. Sincerely yours, Dai
Amazing. Informative. Fun. Organized. Educational. Dai promptly met us at our house at the appointed time and patiently awaited the 10 of us to assemble. This was his largest group and it went off without a problem. He kept tabs on all of us to ensure no one would get lost. This was clearly evident at the Shibuya scramble crossing as we all managed to get across to the meeting point easily. We enjoyed learning about Japanese culture and traditions at the shrines, temples and gardens we visited on the tour. Dai was very knowledgeable, approachable, patient and professional. We enjoyed his company and learned so much then we would of without guide. If we return, we will definitely ask for him again to guide us to more of the country. We HIGHLY recommend Dai. Thank you so much for giving me such a considerate review, Walter. It was my first time to guide such a large number of group around Tokyo. So this time it was actually challenging for me to organize the tour using public transportation. I really appreciate your kindness and cooperation during the tour. Eventually I had a great time with all of you. It was super fun to talk and share the time with you guys. Next time if you come back to Japan again, I would love to show you around Tokyo more and other cities. Please take good care of yourself and give my best regards to your AMAZING family. Thanks a million !!!
