Since 2015 I have dedicated myself to offering experiences that I really love in the Basque Country. I am a native of here and my experiences are related to Basque sport, gastronomy and culture. My service is also consumed by Basque people, so not a service made for tourists. If not what it is, a product that came from my heart and really the experiences that I offer are based on activities that I am passionate about and I am the first interested in enjoying them. And the truth is that I already work with an agency that offers unique experiences, but I need to work with more to have more work, and I believe that you can be a good collaborator for me, because it seems that we coincide in our philosophy of offering unique experiences and unrepeatable.

Born in San Sebastian, Basque Country, I’m an enthusiastic person who loves travelling and sharing my experiences with people. I have visited over 60 countries and guided travellers for over 12 years. After travelling around the world in my last big trip, during 14 months, I decided to set up this bussiness to offer the travellers an unique view of the Basque Country & Rioja and surroundings like a local. I have a long experience guiding people along the Basque Country, specially around San Sebastian, Bilbao, Pamplona, Vitoria as well as the French-Basque Country and the famous Rioja Wine region. As well as I travel abroad often, I love to work showing my city and surroundings, guiding people to the best places, not only to the touristic ones, but to the off-the-track ones too. Always adding some of my little stories and anecdotes of each place making the journey more enjoyable and unique. Living in a place with a food-culture like us, it adds an extra value to my tours, being a member of a Gastronomy Club as I am (famous «sociedad gastronónica») in San Sebastian . A classic of the main sights but as always with a chance to see some favourite stops for the locals too. Starting in ‘las 7 calles’ (7 streets), the original old town extending to the rest of the old quarter: the cathedral, ‘plaza nueva’ and heading towards the river and theatre area. In the newer area we will see some interesting architectural structures: the Alhondiga/ Centro Azkuna with its bizarre pillars and ending, naturally with a view of the puppy and the Guggenheim.

“Wonderful day out with Iker”

Our day with Iker was perfect. He organized our trip exactly the way we asked for and was extremally accommodating (i.e. stopping to look at something in a place that was originally not scheduled) He was extremally knowledgeable about local culture, local history, local food, etc. We had a wonderful day out!!! 10/10 for Iker
