Tour Important Information
We will visit the most iconic streets, squares and landmarks, including the Plaza Mayor (main square), the Mercado de San Miguel (a charming wrought iron covered market), the Plaza de la Villa (one of the main centers of medieval Madrid), the Royal Palace (the largest functioning Royal Palace in Europe) and its statuary-filled gardens in Plaza de Oriente, as well as the Almudena Cathedral Church. We will also see the Opera House and walk through the main shopping streets where we will get to know the traditional centenary shops and old taverns in operation for the last 150 years, and much more.
By doing a customized private tour, I will show you the best spots to take amazing photos, and we can even sit where the locals go to have the popular Iberian ham snack or the typical calamari sandwich; a cup of hot chocolate with churros pastries at the must-see "San Ginés" chocolate shop, and visit the oldest restaurant in the world recognized by the Guiness Book: the unmissable “Botín”, from inside its kitchen. It will be an unforgettable way to feel and experience the vibrant spirit of Madrid step by step.
