Hi! My name is Keiko. I am a nationally licensed tour guide who loves meeting people from different countries and cultures. I was born in Hiroshima and have spent most of my life in my hometown, Hiroshima.
I have been working as a freelance tour guide since 2014. I have a passion and love for my job, with my commitment to make your visit memorable and fun. You will find me friendly, cheerful, flexible and knowledgeable. I love kids and and I am happy to be with them. I love guiding elderly people and I am happy to talk about Japanese history walking at an unhurried pace. Because of my 9-year career as an English teacher at elementary schools, I am good at guiding people whose native language is not English. I can use very simple and easy English in my guiding so that non-native English speakers can easily understand me.
Hiroshima is world famous for its sad memory of the atomic bomb. But at the same time, Hiroshima is a brilliant city where you can enjoy beautiful scenery on Miyajima shrine island, eating local foods and tasting Japanese sake. Keiko was very informative, pleasant, punctual & very accommodating. She helped us store our luggage at the train station & change our tickets for an earlier time on the bullet train. She was always very concerned for our comfort. I would highly recommend her!!
