Hi,
I'm Eri, National licenced English guide.
I was born and grew up in Hokkaido. I have moved to various places, but I am now very happy to settle down in Sapporo.
Hokkaido has a lot of beautiful places, and people living here are very friendly and warm-hearted. Even to strangers, we are always very kind to others. So I feel very comfortable living in Hokkaido.
I like bird watching, riding trains, driving and taking photographs, eating good foods, and of course travel. I love Onsen hot springs.
When you ride Hokkaido trains, view from train windows are spectacular, and you will be fully relaxed to be surrounded by beautiful nature in Hokkaido.
Also Hokkaido foods are very, very delicious. Fresh seafood, and dairy products are my favorites.

“First trip to Sapporo/Otaru ”
My wife and two teen daughters had a wonderful time exploring Otaru with Eri. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable of Sapporo and Otaru’s history and also gave us pointers on how to travel around the city. We had an an amazing lunch and the train ride between Sapporo to Otaru was beautiful. We highly recommend Eri as a local guide and thank her for an amazing experience.

“Fun days with Eri!”
Eri made this trip the easiest we've ever done, anywhere. On the first day she went out of her way and actually came to meet us at the AirBnB we were staying at. She knows the best places to eat (why else are you coming to Japan?) and not expensive restaurants, either. We traveled by train, bus, subway and even an aerial tram. Of course, there was also a lot of walking. Eri is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Hokkaido. My only advice to Eri is to slow down, sometimes, and let your guests enjoy the scenery and the sounds of Hokkaido.

“Great guide”
Our family had a wonderful time with Eri. She was very knowledgeable and had a wealth of historical knowledge about Sapporo. She really went above and beyond for helping us find a lost cell phone (left on a bus). We must have called her a dozen times. Don’t think we would have successfully retrieved the phone had it not been for Thanks for everything Eri!
