About Tour Guide Ikumi N.
Hi, I'm Ikumi, originally from Hokkaido, have been living in Osaka for over 7 years.
The reason why started tour guiding is because I myself enjoy traveling.
I think the dinamic of travel (for me) is to mingle with local people and glance their culture.
I also like challenging new cuisine!
I have standard tours and enjoy it a lot. I always find something new in my standard tour.
I also love to make your original plan. We can even decide where to go on the very day of the tour:)

I registered this site as a local guide last October, so if you're looking for someone who have more
experience, I may not be the one.
Important
I'm available anytime if you can book me at least 2,3 days prior to your visit.
I can pick you up from your hotel to the trip if you pay for my transportation.
My tour will be based on Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto area. I'll customize your plan if you have specific request.

“A fun day in kyoto”
Ikumiis a wonderful guide. We have 7 and 10 year old girls who are usually quite shy but they warmed up very quickly to Ikumi's welcoming personality and sun had lots of questions for her ( thanks for being so patient Ikumi!) My kids had a blast. We visited some shrines/ temples and enjoyed hearing about the history of them in addition to the Japanese culture. There was rain forecasted in the second half off our day so she was flexible in changing the itinerary to be sure we would see the most important places on our list first. She never rushed us and let us experience each location at our leisure. She was prompt to pick us up and was wonderful with the kids. Thanks again for such a fun day!

We're so lucky to visit most of the places in the list despite of the weather. I wish I could take you to the Nijo castle but hope you'll have time to visit there. I appreciated the girls took interested in each historical sites and had lots of questions. I hope I can guide you again next time you'll be here in the future.
