Hello, I’m Akinobu (“Aki”), a Yamanashi prefecture licensed guide interpreter.
I can introduce customers from abroad its unique lifestyle, culture and nature of Yamanashi prefecture where I was born and raised.
Unlike modern cities like Tokyo, there are many interesting places to visit and see in the rural area of Yamanashi prefecture.
Based on my experiences communicating with many English speaking people during my 6 years of graduate study in the U.S. and nearly 30 years of work for a multi-national company I can propose a unique travel plan for customers to make their stay exciting and memorable.
I can also guide other are of Yamanashi prefecture, such as Mt. Fuji and its surroundings including Fuji Five Lakes, Aokigahara Jyukai (sea of trees), various caves (lava, wind, ice and bat caves) and the world-famous wine country where you can visit more than 80 wineries to choose from and taste award-winning wines including the white wines made from Kosyu grapes unique to Yamanashi prefecture.

“You'll be thankful to have Akinobu Sano as your tour guide!”
It was such a pleasant visit to Kofu wth Mr Aki accompanying us around. A very helpful gentleman, Aki helped my family going around different places and even assisted our daughter with her registration process at iCLA, a university for international students. He was very well prepared with his itinerary and was able to make changes when requested. I wil definately get him to guide us again when visiting Yamanashi.
