Hi I'm Kosuke. I was born and raised up in Kyoto Japan and have been workiing as a driver tour guide since I left the Taxi company where I had a commercial license and car has been registered as a sightseeing car.
I'm getting famous for friendly Japanese tour guide! Please let me show you around the beautiful city!
I'm also working as a drone pilot. I would love to send videos of Japanese beautiful landscape to all of you!
Kosuke dropped us right in front of the bamboo grove. We did not have to walk so far to go in.
We like to travel on our own but hire a guide to orient us to each locale we visit, or take us to hard to get or only locally known sites. Kosuke, with background as driver and guide, provided us with a custom driving tour of gardens in Kyoto. We started with a mapping of many gardens I had catalogued over years to see in Kyoto. Avoiding larger tourist areas with buses and crowds, we visited places we wanted, or he knew as a local, that were spectacular gardens including Komyoin temple (rock garden) - Fushimi inari shrine (many gates, quick visit due to crowds is enough) - temple (coping writing) - Enkoji temple (dragon) - Hosenin temple (green tea), and Sanzenin temple (moss carpet). He also took us to lunch at a local, generational family run uden/soba restaurant, with fantastic home made noodle dishes. Couldn’t have been a better day. Kosuke was helpful in every way and the fact that it was a rainy day only added to the quality of the tour. Thanks Kosuke!
Kosuke was an amazing guide. He speaks very good English and has a roomy car that can sit up to 9 people. We had 8 people in our group with children as young as 11. Since he's native to Kyoto, his knowledge of the surrounding cities were impeccable. He took us to more remote and quieter places that were less crowded and had fewer tourists. The restaurant he took us to have eel was also the best we've ever had. Our overall experience with Kosuke was nothing less than stellar. His services are highly recommended.
Kosuke was a very good tour guide and very knowledgeable about Japanese culture and all the sites we visited. We had 2 people in a spacious van, and the car ride to different sights was very comfortable and air conditioned. Kosuke was willing to cater the tour to what we wanted to see, and also brought us to local sights that would have been hard to find on our own! He also recommended very good places to eat, such as a local hand-made soba restaurant and a place that sold excellent rice crackers. Not only was Kosuke able to show us all the sights we wanted to see, he also really cared about our interests and our wellbeing throughout the tour, as he always asked us if we were okay to continue or wanted to rest; after learning our preferences of certain things, he made sure to adhere to our preferences as well! We learned a lot about Japanese culture and were amazed at the sights we saw. We highly recommend booking a tour with Kosuke!
