Hello! I am Nobuko. Call me Nobu. I am a national licensed tour guide. I used to work in a publishing company as a book editor for 23 years. I was born and raised in Tokyo. Ｉ live in Tokyo with my family. I make it a point to update myself with what's new in Tokyo and in cities outside of it like Hakone, Kamakura and so on.
I love pottery making. I like to appreciate Japanese antique artworks like ceramics, lacquerwares, woven fabrics, ukiyoe, and Buddhist statues. I have visited India, Dubai, Thailand, Tahiti, Turkey, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Bergen, U.S.A, Australia, etc. As a well traveled person, I would like to guide you like a friend in a relaxed atmosphere. I take pleasure in communicating with various people from different cultures.

“A special day in Tokyo touring with Nobuko”
We had the pleasure of touring Tokyo with Nobuko. Not only was she delightful but also excellent in taking us around Tokyo. We enjoyed a Buddhist fire ceremony and it was one of those really special life experiences. We enjoyed the places she took us but our lunch together was really the highlight of the day as Nobuko took us to a place that we wouldn’t have chosen on our own. We had one of the most delicious meals that we had in Japan. She took us for Japanese pizza, which really wasn’t like pizza at all. Not only was the food fantastic but our conversations with Nobuko greatly enhanced the experience. Nobuko’ English was very easy for us to understand. She made our day special with all her knowledge and personality. Thank you Shelly

I am so happy to know you enjoyed the tour yesterday, because my most favorite place in Tokyo is Fukagawa Fudoson Temple where we watched sacred fire ceremony together. I also enjoyed grilling Japanese pizza called Okonomiyaki with you. Strange can venders were also interesting! I am glad our taste is similar. Please come to Tokyo next time for longer days. “Great experience in Tokyo with Nobu”
My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our time with Nobu. She helped create an itinerary for my family and was very accommodating when I needed to make a last minute change. We hit up Tsijiki, Akihabara, and Ueno Zoo. She is very knowledgeable about the sites in Tokyo and helped us navigate the subway/train systems. She was also very good with my young daughter so I highly recommend booking her if you have children. She even went out of her way to help us purchase train tickets to Hakone and Kyoto. She is such a nice person and a very awesome tour guide.
