A little bit about myself and my Tuscan life..

Ciao! My name is Virginia, I love art and history and I am a certified tour guide from Tuscany, born just beside the leaning tower of Pisa.

I work in tourism since 1997 when, after travelling the five continents and living abroad for a while, I decided that my native land was definitely the place where I wanted to live and work as a Tuscan and Florence tour guide.

Graduated in languages, translation and interpreting, studied Florentine medieval and renaissance art, since many years I am taking good care of my clients coming from all over the world.

I have been leading, tailoring and organizing tours for newcomers, experienced travelers, large groups, small parties or families.

I love travelling, I like very much to sail, I am a food and wine expert and a sommelier, and my job is to show travelers the best way to experience and visit Tuscany and the Italian wonders.

I speak fluent English, Spanish and French, while my native language is Italian. Using my professional skills I offer a variety of tours and unique experiences in Florence, Lucca, Pisa, 5 Terre, Tuscany and other Italian destinations, covering many topics such as art, history, local life and culture, food and of course.. wine tasting.

During the busy summer season you will find me walking the streets of Florence with my clients or sipping a glass of wine in a Tuscan corner.

In the winter time, when I am not searching new ideas for my tours or leading guided tours, you can find me travelling the world or maybe in the Tuscan countryside picking grapes and olives.
