My name is Manu, a private Tour Guide based in the STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO, with 15 years of guiding experience.

Accredited and licensed by the Brazilian government, I offer sightseeing and cutomized DAY TOURS in the city of RIO DE JANEIRO as well as ALL OVER THE STATE.

I'm a fluent speaker of English AND Spanish, speak Italian and French on an intermediate level.

I have a 4 years living experience in the US where I studied 3 years in Texas and 1 year in New York.

As an English Language teacher college graduated, I taught english for teenagers, young adults and adults for 10 years, when I changed career, majoring in tourism, my second graduation in 2007, since when I've been working as a Local Tour Guide.

My working philosophy is that the best tour guides bring a meaning to their customers trip experiences with their passion, and that's what I LOVE TO DO.

On my 15 years Tour Guide experience, I have offered tours services in Rio de Janeiro and other parts of Brazil for solo, couples, families and private groups.

I consider myself a cosmopolitan citizen, cultured and fun guy (as my students always used to say!).

I usually work with my customers tailoring up the offered itineraries according to their wishes and expectations, despite I DO HAVE preformatted itineraries.
