Hi. I'm Michi.
I’m a national licensed tour guide in English. I would like to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinating and satisfying.
My specialty is tours of Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites, Hiroshima Peace Memorial & Itsukushima Shrine.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you the a-bomb legacies that are still existing in the city.
I also would like to share time with you on a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine.
I am also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors' experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors.’ It is possible to include my lecture in my tour. It is appreciated if you could let me know BEFORE your booking.

We had a tour of Miyajima today with Michi. She was incredible. So well versed and taught us so so much about the religions and the significance of the different temples and shrine. Very happy with the tour and excited for our tour of Hiroshima tomorrow.

We had a great day with Michuri and we could visit all Memorials, Museums, Shrines and Gardens as she had planned. She looked after us family of five and made sure that all questions were answered, that we always had enough water to drink and even brought us to a great sushi place where she was brave enough to try the puff fish with us. “Fantastic trip in Kure city by Michiru. ”
I had a fantastic trip with Michiru in Kure city near Hiroshima. I always had an interest in Japanese Navy so I was happy that she accommodate my request and we were able to visit their important sites. She was very kind, thoughtful and flexible in doing the tour. I will be sure to use her service again when visiting the Hiroshima area.
