I'm a government certified guide interpreter.
I'm originally from Gifu Prefecture located in Central Japan and have lived in Nara city for more than twenty years.
I used to be a civil engineer working for a construction company and experienced overseas projects mainly in South Pacific region for about nine years.
During my stay abroad, I had an opportunity to look Japan from outside and realized the beauty of Japan from different point of view.
Now I retired from the company and I'm guiding foreign visitors mainly over Kansai district including Nara, Kyoto and Osaka to help them know more about the history, the culture and the people of Japan.

Experience Serene Atmosphere of Ancient Capital of Nara
Nara was an acient capital of Japan and still retains serene atmosphere in Nara Park. There are three famous historic sites in Nara city including Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple and Kasuga-taisha Shrine. Those spots are located in Nara Park. Some buildings are original and some were repeatedly reconstructed after devastation caused by fire in the civil war. I will show you not only the popular spot but also hidden things unwritten in the guide books in terms of historical facts.
Visiting Uji and Rakuto Area
Kyoto was a capital of Japan for about 1,000 years till the end of Edo period since establishment of Heian-kyo dating back to 794.Kyoto retains many historic and scenic places because of flourishing of not only Buddhism and Shintoism but also aristocratic and samurai culture.Kyoto consists of four districts including Rakunan,Rakuhoku,Rakusai,Rakuto and Rakuchu.This tour covers Rakunan and Rakuto.
Experience Hozoin School of Spearmanship
Nara is a birth place of the Hozoin-Ryu Sojutu School of spearmanship. It was founded by Kakuzenbo Hoin In-ei who was a Buddhist monk of Kohfukuji Temple in Nara dating back 450 years.It is said that In-ei invented a spear with cross-shaped spearhead inspired by the reflection of the crescent moon on Sarusawa-ike Pond. This tour will take you to the related places to Kakuzenbo Hoin In-ei.
Explore the Historic Site of Esoteric Buddhism
Koyasan is located in Kii Peninsula where almost all part of the land are covered with mountains and forest. Buddhist priest Kukai, later called Kobo Daishi, founded Kongobuji Temple for training monastery of Shingon Esoteric Buddism dating back 1,200 years. This spot has been worshiped as secluded haven and sacred place since establishment.
Unforgettable Memory of Kyoto
This tour consists of visiting three famous touristy spots including Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple and Kanauji Temple. You will take public transportation system including JR, Kyoto City Bus and Kyoto City Subway. You can enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn at each spot.

If we could give 10 stars we would do that for HIRO. We had such a wonderful day in Nara with him and saw the most incredible sites. He was so enthusiastic and was so knowledgeable everywhere we went. We also stopped for a wonderful lunch and got to rest for a while and then continued our eight hour tour. Needless to say “HIGHLY RECOMMEND “
