Hi! I’m Michiko.
I'm a nationally licensed English tour guide.
I used to be a Japanese (as a subject) teacher at a junior high school and a counselor for foreign residents at the Saitama International Exchange Association.
I love trips. I almost always move around not only Tokyo and Saitama but also many places in Japan. Last week, I went to Kyoto to visit a museum and a small temple, which was so beautiful with its colored autumnal leaves.
I can show you around “Don’t Miss Sights” ranging from traditional and tranquil places to modern lively places.
I’ll be happy to take you where you want to go as far as possible and help you create the best memories during your stay in Japan.
I am interested in Japanese nature, history, culture and food.
Especially, I love Bonsai, potted trees that have condensed ideal natural landscapes.
I also have some tours of Omiya Bonsai Art Museum and Bonsai Gardens in Bonsai Village.

“Very Efficient and Friendly”
Michiko met us promptly at the start of our tour and showed the schedule and said she is very flexible and can move things around. This actually happened because of bad weather conditions and with our approval, she suggested changes that reversed the morning itinerary with the evening. It was a long and busy day and crammed with activities as per my suggestions and Michiko kept us on track and allowed a lot of time for us to enjoy each site. Though English is not her native language, we were able to communicate with her fairly effectively. I would definitely use her services the next time I am in Japan.

Fuji) for the tour expected the next week. Hakone has an amazing “onsen”, hot springs. Let’s go there next time!
