About Tour Guide Yamato (bobby) S.
Call me Bobby! I was raised in the USA but spent years of my life in Japan as well. I'm a native Japanese speaker and Japanese culture plays a big part in my life. I love meeting new people and showing them a good time in one Japan's homiest cities, Okayama. I'm also a freelance photographer and videographer so I enjoy teaching basics of photography in some of the more scenic parts of the city.

“Best Okayama Tour”
Had a change of itinerary during the day so I asked Yamato if we could bump our schedule which was okay with him. He also fetched me from my hotel. He took me to 3 cool spots and I had the best conversations with him. Truly a wonderful experience.
“A chill afternoon in Kurashiki ”
We were fortunate enough to be in Kurashiki the day of the harvest festival and be privy to the colourful Shinto celebrations and even an "open house" event taking place all around the historical quarter where you could peek into some private residences to see the art of local students or prized family treasures. It was a very laid back afternoon and it was fun talking to Yamato about geo-politics and getting some insights on the history of the famed denim street in the area and local legend, Momotaro.
