Little Edo in Kawagoe
Little Edo has two meanings. One is that the town used to thrive like Edo(present-day Tokyo). The other is that even today there is an atmosphere of Edo period(1603-1867) in the town. Around the Tokyo Metropolitan area, there are three representative Little Edo: Kawagoe in Saitama prefecture, Tochigi in Tochigi prefecture and Sawara in Chiba prefecture. All of them are wonderful places to visit. In my tour, Bonsai village & neighboring optional tour, Kawagoe is one of optional destinations. I would like you to feel the atmosphere of Little Edo.
