About cancellations due to COVID-19 related issues

For cancellations because of COVID-19 reasons, if the guide agrees, the customer will be fully refunded, even if they wouldn't normally be eligible for a refund. Before booking, please message your guide to find out if they’re willing to give you a full refund in case you have to cancel due to COVID-19.

Guide's Cancellation Policy

In case the Traveler wishes to cancel the Tour Agreement, the policy below will apply to the cancellation. After deducting the appropriate charges from the price paid, GoWithGuide will refund the remaining amount within 10 days from the date of the cancellation.

  • It depends on each credit card company when the refund will be reflected on the statement.
 

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel in the first 14 day(s) before the meeting time: Charge 100%
  • If you cancel in the first 29 day(s) before the meeting time: Charge 50%
  • If you cancel at least 30 day(s) in advance of the meeting time, there is a 100% refund.: Charge 0%
 

Important

  • “Tour Price” shall include consumption tax thereon if any.
  • When counting the days, we use the time from our system which is based on the tour’s actual start time using the area’s local time zone, 24 hours is counted as 1 full day.
  • The cancellation must be done by the Traveler through the GoWithGuide online system. Please login to GoWithGuide and click “Bookings” on the top right corner. You can view your booking information and find a cancel button inside each booking page.
  • To avoid any confusion please see sample case below:If a tour that is going to be conducted in Tokyo start date and time is May 31st 9:00 am.Cancelled on May 17th after 9:00 am (Tour Local Time) = 100% cancellation fee will be charged.Cancelled on May 2nd after 9:00 am (Tour Local Time) = 50% cancellation fee will be charged.Cancelled on May 2nd before 8:59 (Tour Local Time) = 100% of the payment will be refunded.
  • If you book your tours before August 15 in 2018, please confirm the old cancellation policy in the booking cancellation page.

Online Experiences Cancellation Policy

Free reschedule of the booking with the Guide if the original date and time cannot be met. If rescheduling is not possible:
