Shinji Pond: remnants of the old Edo(now Tokyo) castle
Hibiya park is located in the middle of Tokyo, neighboring to the Imperial Palace Plaza and surrounded by government and large company offices. On weekdays, it is a place of rest and relaxation for office workers. On weekends, many events are held in the park for holidaymakers. It was opened in 1903 as the first-time western style garden in Japan. In the park, there are various facilities such as a public hall, a libraly, an open-air concert stage and a western style restaurant. In my tour, A one day tour for the first time visitors to Tokyo, this park is along the route. Besides the park, the Hibiya area has long been well known for entertainment facilities such as movie theaters, a revue theater and so on. A revue theater is named Tokyo Takarazuka Theater in which all performers are females. In my tour, you can find many aspects of Japan steeped in tradition and culture. Why don't you join me?
