Sapporo Snow Festival is a world-wellknown festival now. But when this festival started in 1950, it was held by high school students, and the scale was so small.
After the 1972 Olympics in Sapporo were decided, the press reported this festival. So, this festival became well-known.
The places are Odori, Susukino, and Tsu-dome. Many foreigners visit here, and I saw many elementary school students ask them. If you were questioned by those students, please cooperate them.
There are so many snow statues, and is a skating rink. If you are from hot countries, you can enjoy skating and snow there.
