This tour of Santiago shows you an authentic experience of the city by exploring the important landmarks as well as parts of the historical and modern-day Santiago.
The Plaza de Armas
Departuring from the Plaza de Armas, (main square) we explore the area while learning about the city's history. You will also have some free time for taking pictures in the area. Then we continue our tour to the Cathedral.
Afterwards, we continue walking to the Pre-Colombian Museum of art, where you get to see the largest collection of the first inhabitants of the Americas. The local expert is going to give a thirty minutes lecture about the early inhabitants of Chile. Then you will have fifty minutes to visit the other three floors of the Museum.
We continue walking to the next outstanding area of the old downtown, The Presidential Palace, and its citizens square. Here you will be able to see all the main governmental buildings.
After visiting The Presidential Palace, we take the metro to the new commercial area of Santiago, Sanhattan, Santiago's own Manhattan. Over there we can grab a coffee and continue walking around in this beautiful area, enjoying its parks and flowers while admiring the incredible modern architecture mixed with a residential area.
The tour ends with us taking the metro back to the main square where we started.
