Sunyani Post Office

- Our meeting place is SUNYANI MAIN POST OFFICE, opposite Sunyani Traditional Council, near Market Circle. Very central, any taxi knows it. I will be waiting in front wearing Razor Fader shirt with my motor. If your hotel is in Sunyani town, I can also pick you from your lobby for free - just message me your hotel name after booking. I call you 30 mins before 7am start.

Boabeng - Fiema Monkeys Sanctuary

Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary is a sacred forest where 700+ Mona and Black & White Colobus monkeys live free with humans! Protected since 400 years by local taboo - no one harms them. Monkeys walk on you, eat from your hand, pose for photos. 2 villages (Boabeng & Fiema) protect them. Guided forest walk, see shrines, learn history. Most friendly monkeys in Africa! 50km from Sunyani.

Kintampo Waterfalls

Kintampo Waterfalls is Ghana's most beautiful waterfall! 70 meters high with 3 stages - falls from 2 rivers (Black Volta tributaries). Hike 173 steps down to swim in crystal pool, stand under falls for natural massage! Lush forest, canopy walkway, amazing photos. Safe swimming, life jackets available. 120km from Sunyani. Best waterfall for swimming in Ghana - refreshing after walk! Don't miss!

Techiman Market is Ghana's largest open-air market and heart of Bono East! Massive 4km stretch with everything - colorful Kente cloth, beads, spices, yam market, crafts & street food. Experience real Ghanaian life, bargain with traders, find unique souvenirs. We stop on way back from Kintampo. Safe, guided, photos allowed. A must-see cultural experience!

Tour Important Information

- This tour involves moderate walking and 173 steps down/up at Kintampo Waterfalls - wear comfortable sneakers or water shoes, no slippers.

- This tour is NOT wheelchair accessible - forest trails and waterfall steps are uneven.

- This tour is not recommended for those with severe knee/back problems or heart conditions due to steps and forest walk.

- Swimming at Kintampo is optional - water is refreshing but can be strong. Life jackets available for rent (10 GHS).

- Monkeys at Boabeng are wild but friendly - do not tease, carry open food, or wear shiny objects. Listen to ranger instructions.

- Techiman Market is very crowded and busy - watch your belongings, wear modest clothes, ask before taking photos of people.

- Lunch is NOT included - local food at Kintampo costs 40-80 GHS. Please inform me in advance about food allergies or vegetarian needs.

- Bring: towel, swimwear, water, sunscreen, hat, cash for lunch/souvenirs/market.

- This tour runs rain or shine - waterfall is more beautiful in rainy season but steps can be slippery.

- Hotel pickup/drop-off in Sunyani city only - please share your location. For other cities, extra transport fee applies.
