Meeting Point
At your hotel
Hotel pick-up in Riga
You will be picked-up from your hotel or accomodation place at the scheduled time to depart towards Cesis (1.20h drive)
Arrival in Cesis
We'll arive in Cesis at the convenient time and head towards the Old Town to start our photoshoot-tour.
Riga's street
Nowadays the main street in Cesis Old Town, it used to connect this ancient villa with the nowadays capital of Riga, back in the medieval times. Here we'll take the first pictures of our photoshoot against the little alleys and old craftmen's buildings before reaching the Rose Square.
The Rose Square & St. John's Church
The old market square, nowadays renamed as "Rose Square", is the heart of the ancient villa of Cesis. After taking more pictures in this iconic location we'll stop to contemplate the majestic St. John's Church nearby, a 13th century Lutheran temple that could easily rival with the monumental St. Peter's Church in Riga.
Coffee break
We'll stop for a break in a cosy coffee place to degustate true Arabica coffee or another drink of your choice, before heading towards our last spot: the impressive Livonian Castle, just 5 minutes away.
Livonian Castle Park
Surrounded by a XIX century park with a pond, the impressive Castle Fortress that seats in the middle is the great landmark of Cesis Old Town, and the best medieval heritage to be found in Latvia. Dating back from the 13th century, this once residential place of the Master of the Livonian Order is an ideal location to take the last pictures of our photoshoot-tour. After contemplating its majestic walls, we'll dive into the beautiful gardens to enjoy a true romantic essence, finishing back in front of the castle to capture one last iconic snap.
Departure from Cesis
After we finish our visit to the Castle Park, we will head to our transportation vehicle to depart back towards Riga (1.20h drive)

It is recommended to wear colourful clothes (please avoid pure blacks or white tones)
