- Meet your guide in front of Boulangerie Eric Kayser, located next to the Beausoleil Market. This is our starting point before heading to the market to pick up fresh local specialties for our picnic. Please arrive 5 minutes before the tour start time. The location is easy to reach on foot from Monaco and nearby public transport

Browse the lively Beausoleil Market and choose your own picnic from a selection of local specialties. Depending on availability, you may try socca, barbajuan, pissaladière, local cheeses, pastries, or other regional favorites. Guests purchase their own food and drinks. We’ll also stop to grab water before starting the hike, ensuring you’re ready for a comfortable climb to the spectacular Tête de Chien viewpoint

Start the Scenic Hike to Tete de Chien

After picking up our picnic supplies, we leave Beausoleil behind and begin our scenic hike toward Tête de Chien. The trail gradually climbs through Mediterranean vegetation, offering increasingly spectacular views over Monaco, Monte-Carlo and the French Riviera. Along the way, we’ll stop at several viewpoints for photos and local stories.

Enjoy a relaxing picnic at one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the French Riviera. From the summit of Tête de Chien, admire breathtaking panoramic views over Monaco, Cap Ferrat, Nice, Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. Evening departures offer the chance to watch the sun set over the Riviera while capturing unforgettable photos from this unique natural balcony above Monaco

This relaxing route provides fresh photo opportunities and a different side of the French Riviera before we return to town

This tour involves a moderate uphill hike and is not recommended for guests with serious knee, back, heart or mobility issues.

Please wear comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers with good grip.

I am a passionate local guide with extensive experience in Monaco and the French Riviera.

I previously worked as a guide at the Prince’s Palace in Monaco and also conducted driving tours with a Monaco company, accompanying VIP clients across some of the most iconic destinations of the French Riviera and beyond, including Èze, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez and Sanremo.

I have recently returned from one year of solo backpacking across South and Central America, an experience that deepened my understanding of travel, cultures, human connection and authentic experiences.

Travel, for me, is not only about seeing places — it is about creating memorable moments, emotions and stories.
