We start in Bergen city center and drive towards Voss, a short stop for a rest room visit. On to Tvindefossen with a stop; Gudvangen Viking village, and then to Aurland and Stegastein viewpoint. A lunch at Flåm Marina can be nice. And then a visit to Rjoanderfossen with the magnificent fall. Before the trip returns to Bergen via Voss.

Tvindefossen waterfall

Gudvangen Viking Village

Continue to Gudvangen, nestled deep in the Nærøyfjord — a UNESCO World Heritage site. Step back in time at the Viking Valley, where you can explore authentic Viking houses, meet modern-day “Vikings,” and discover how Norse traditions come to life through crafts, food, and storytelling.

Aurland & Stegastein Viewpoint

Drive on to the charming fjord village of Aurland, known for its serene landscapes and local handicrafts. Then ascend to the Stegastein Viewpoint, a spectacular platform jutting 30 meters out from the mountainside, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Aurlandsfjord below.

Lunch at Flåm Marina

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Flåm Marina, right by the fjord. Savor fresh local dishes — perhaps seafood or a crisp salad — while watching boats glide across the tranquil waters and soaking in the scenic surroundings.

Rjoanderfossen waterfall
