- Aker Brygge to Drøbak by Boat We’ll begin our tour with a relaxing boat ride from Aker Brygge, Oslo’s vibrant waterfront, to the picturesque town of Drøbak. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the Oslofjord, the sparkling water, and the surrounding islands.
Oscarsborg Fortress
We’ll take a short boat ride to Oscarsborg Fortress, an iconic military stronghold that has played a crucial role in Norwegian history. Built in the 1800s to defend the Oslofjord, the fortress became famous during World War II when it was used to sink the German cruiser Blücher in 1940, preventing a German invasion. The fortress is rich with history and stunning views of the fjord.
Wandering Through Drøbak
Once back in Drøbak, we’ll stroll through its charming streets, where you’ll find quaint shops, cozy cafés, and beautiful wooden houses. Drøbak is known for its art galleries, marine life, and relaxed atmosphere. The town is also home to the famous Christmas house, which is open year-round!
Lunch in Drøbak
After exploring, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in Drøbak, where you can sample some local Norwegian dishes, perhaps a fresh seafood platter or the famous Norwegian fish soup.
Return by bus
After a day full of history, culture, and scenic beauty, we’ll head back to Oslo by bus, concluding our memorable journey through some of the best spots near the city.
