This day trip is very comprehensive as it covers five touring attractions, each with its own significance. We will visit Gurdawara complex in Nankana Sahib, Mausoleum of two lovers Mirza Sahiba, Horse Train, havelis of Sir Ganga Ram and Bhagat Singh, and round up of Faisalabad the third largest city of Pakistan.

Meeting Point

Tourist's hotel

- Any hotel or mutually agreed spot in Lahore city. We will leave for Nankana Sahib at 7:30 am.

09:00 AM

Nankana Sahib

We will spend approximately one hour in Nankana Sahib. Birthplace of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji who was born in 1469. One can visit Gurdwara Complex that includes the main Gurdwara building, surrounding structures, and the sacred pond. There is Darbar Sahib where Guru Garanth the holy scripture of Sikhism is placed. In Langar hall, meals are served to the visitors. One can also view historical artefacts, manuscripts, and paintings related to the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. One can also observe religious practices here.

Dana Abad

A 30 minutes in Dana Abad. Village is popular for famous folklore of Mirza Sahiba, the staunch lovers. Here, we will visit mausoleum of Mirza Sahiba and also listen folklore from the locals.

Gangapur

Approximately 40 to 45 minutes in Gangapur. Remnants of Ghora Train track which was built in 1898. Haveli of the great Sir Ganga Ram who is considered as the father of modern Lahore.

Bangay Village

Approximately 40 minutes in Bangay Village. Visit of Famous Sikh hero, freedom fighter, Sardar Baghat Singh Haveli which has been declared as heritage monument.

Faisalabad City

Lunch at Faisalabad. Faisalabad is the third largest city of Pakistan. Visit of Ghanta Ghar Bazar, Lyallpur Galleria, University of Agriculture, and city round.

Tour Important Information

Please note the temperature if it is tolerable for you, especially from Mid May to Mid August. Wear P cap or hat during summer season. This tour involves moderate walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions. Wear informal but modest clothing and no nudity please.

For one to four tourists, a five seater hatch back or sedan car would be used depending upon the availability at the moment, and for more than four tourists a bigger vehicle with sufficient seating capacity will be used. Small car can be our personal one or the arranged one.
