Big 5 Safari Adventure
Six day tour of Cape Town, including a Big 5 Safaris experience in the famous Garden Route. Stay the first night in the Cape Winelands, with a cellar and wine-tasting tour and exploring the university town of Stellenbosch and ending off at the Tsitsikamma National Park in the famous Garden Route with a hike to the much-talked about swinging bridge at Storms River.

DAY-1
Master wine-tasting at one of the foremost wine estates in Paarl, a historical town 40 minutes outside Cape Town.
Individual attention by an expert wine guide giving you all the deeper knowledge of how the wines are manufactured and matured to perfection. You'll enjoy great wines with some of the best cheeses South Africa has to offer.
Leave for next winery
Another more easier tasting, culminating with a scrumptious lunch with a panoramic view of Table Mountain
Stellenbosch Town
Exploring the second oldest town, which is also a university town with its quaint shops, art galleries, restaurants and coffee shops

DAY-2
Head for Cape of Good Hope.
You'll be collected from your accommodation for your day tour of Cape of Good Hope.
Muizenberg's Surfer's Corner

Penguins at Boulder's Beach
One of the top attractions in Cape Town where you'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cute and adoring African "JackAss" penguins.

Enjoy a delectable lunch
Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point
Visit the southwestern-most point of the African continent, with the chance of seeing ostriches and the largest antelope, the Eland right near the Atlantic Ocean. Then a stroll to the Cape Point Lighthouse for a breathtaking scenery.
Chapman's Peak Drive
This drive is probably the most spectacular drive on the continent, with many saying that it's even more beautiful than the Amalfi Coast in Naples, Italy
Camp's Bay
Another of Cape Town's beautiful beaches, where you can enjoy a late afternoon coffee/drinks break before heading back to Stellenbosch. Pack your bags in the evening, because we hit the road the next morning for the Garden Route.
DAY-3
head for the Garden Route
After breakfast for head for the Garden Route. This is one of the top road trips which you'll remember for years to come.

Garden Route Game Lodge
Check in, followed by lunch and a late afternoon game drive in search of the Big 5. Dinner. Accommodation and meals at the game lodge are included.
DAY-4
Early morning game drive
Another opportunity to spot the animals which you might have missed the previous night

After breakfast and lazing time by the poolside we head off further into the Garden Route.

DAY-5

After breakfast we head off towards Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, continuing on to Tsitsikamma (famous for the world's highest commercial bungee jump) and ending off at the Tsitsikamma National Park, where we'll do a short hike to the 77m long swinging bridge which crosses over the Storms River, which runs into the Indian Ocean. During the Spring you might be pleasantly surprised by witnessing the Southern Right Whales, which visit our shores to give birth in the warmer ocean.

Tour Important Information
* Make sure to wear comfortable shoes or takkies as the tour involves some walking, with the walk to Tsitsikamma's swinging bridge involving a short walk over the beach towards fairly steep steps and a boardwalk all the way for about 800m to the swinging bridge. The other walk in Cape Town is at Cape Point and the penguins at Boulder's Beach
* Our Spring and Summer can be warm and a hat and sunscreen is recommended, especially for the safari
* During these seasons it is advisable to bring along a light jacket as it can get colder at night
* During Winter and autumn (April - July) is rain jacket is required
Please let me know in advance whether you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions
* WRT accommodation, we will include accommodation at 4-star establishments throughout.
* Please book your flight from George Airport to Johannesburg's OR Tambo International on the last day of the tour. It takes 3 hours' drive from Storms River to George Airport. So the time we leave from Storms River would be determined by the time of the flight, which most of the time is in the early and late afternoon. You can also opt to be dropped in Cape Town should you wish to extend your stay.
