I've been working as a professional tour guide since 2012. I have a degree in Hons. Heritage Studies and an accredited Failte Ireland tour guide working in the West of Ireland and along the Wild Atlantic Way. Please see my website www.wildaboutireland.ie for more details. I also offer self guided and guided bicycle tours of Galway City and Connemara National Park. My personal interests are in archaeology, anthropology, natural history, folklore and folklife. My tours have a mixture of these topics as they cut to the core of Gaelic Culture. I have studied the medieval period in Ireland extensively as this informs much of the built architecture in Galway City and the West of Ireland.
