We will start in a place that you can enjoy live music, food, and drink before we begin the tour. The stories will actually start with things that happen at this local from when it was a house to the restaurant it is today.

Capt Tony's Saloon

The original ice house in town had a tree next to it. Today it is the oldest bar in Florida and that tree is in the bar. The original location of Sloppy Joe's right after prohibition ended and in 1958 bought by Capt Tony who would sell it when he became mayor, but hang out at the front door until his passing in 2008 (or is he still here). The skeleton behind the bar is one of 27 found during construction that they think goes back to a hurricane in 1865 when the morgue was flooded.

Shots and Giggles

Flamboyant Frank lived here until his murder. Now he still drinks rum on occasion and other things happen here.

Casa Antigua

One of the original hotels on the island became the Ford dealership. When Hemingway came to town this was the first apartment he stayed in. Someone might be watching this place now....

The Artist House and the Dean Lopez Funeral home

The 2 stories that no other town can claim... the Undying love story and yes Robert the Doll. Both stories just steps apart with a few others that can be added to the mix

Historic Haunted Hard Rock Cafe

We will stop for a comfort break and beverages at the once home of Robert Curry. We will go upstairs and find out why it has paranormal behavior. This is your tour so before we depart you will have the ability to shape the rest of the stroll. We can tell a few more stories and head back to the starting point. We can extend and tell another 30 to 60 minutes (or more). You can also call it good and stay in the air conditioned house and hear stories until you comfortable returning to your lodging for a good nights sleep.
