- William Sherman Statue located inside Grand Army Plaza at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue across from Pulitzer Fountain (currently under construction). Both the Apple Store and The Plaza Hotel are located across the street from the gold statue.

From The Plaza to the Empire State Building, it is only 1.5 miles. Here's the catch; there is so much good stuff in between including a few side detours. Includes famous shops, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central, New York Public Library, Bryant Park.
