A day trip safari to Botswana is an unforgettable experience, that gives guests a chance to see a lot of wild animals is a short space of time as you do two activities including a vehicle game drive and a boat cruise safari . Animals are highly to be seen in big herds along the Chobe river and these include lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, kudus, zebras, hippos, crocodiles , lots of small antelopes and a great opportunity for bird watching lovers to see quiet a lot..

07:00 AM

Meeting Point

Hotel of stay at the reception.

- Clients should wait at the reception foyer at their hotel of stay .Kindly have your breakfast early or order takeaway from hotel. Please bring passports. The drive guide will come and meet them with a vehicle, Toyota mini van/bus (petrol), air-conditioned and transfer to Kazungula border, the exit border to Botswana.

08:20 AM

Border/immigration formalities

On arrival at the Zimbabwe Kazungula border, the guide assists with immigration procedure, and hands over the clients to the Botswana guide, who will take care of the guests for the rest of the day.

The Botswana guide will drive the clients to the Botswana border, (50m away), do the entry immigration procedure( take note and be guided accordingly on visa nationality visa requirements) and proceed to do the first activity- (take note that either the game drive or boat cruise will start depending on the day).

09:30 AM

Chobe National Park Game Drive

This is a game viewing drive in the famous and Botswana's largest National Park. Lions, herds of elephants, buffalos and may more are expected to be seen. Of course with nature we don't guarantee but goes with lucky of the day. The leopard and cheetah may also be spotted, as well as more of antelopes and warthogs.

This takes about 2 and half hours. After the drive, the guide takes the clients to Cresta Mowana Resort for a buffet lunch.

12:30 PM

Cresta Mowana Resort Lunch

This is beautiful resort lodge, and clients join the buffet lunch served at this river facing hotel.

01:30 PM

Chobe River boat cruise

After a filling and delicious lunch, clients are escorted to the boat and embark on 2 hour long game and bird viewing cruise on Chobe River. This usually gives the clients the spot the animals that would have come to drink water by the river. The river also demarcates the two countries, Namibia and Botswana.

03:30 PM

Drive back to VictoriaFalls

After the boat cruise clients are driven back to the border, exit Botswana formalities and handed back to the Zimbabwe guide at the Zimbabwe border. After immigration, the guide drives back the clients to Victoria Falls, and drop them back at their hotel of stay.

A very passionate and knowledgeable local guide based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. l have more than 15 years of active guiding in this resort town as well as throughout Zimbabwe. Having born in a tourist destination of Kariba, the passion for nature and guiding spans way back. l love my job as l get to learn and meet different nationalities, and enjoy sharing our local culture history as well with the same.

l have travelled to all tourist destinations of Zimbabwe, Matopos, Great Zimbabwe, Hwange to name a few, as well as the neighboring countries of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

l am a licensed guide with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority. l have a certificate in tour guiding with the University of Zimbabwe.
